By charter, The Patrick and Beatrice Haggerty Foundation grants are given for charitable, scientific, literary, religious, and education purposes only.
- All applications must be submitted on-line.
- To be eligible, an organization must be recognized as tax-exempt under Code 501(c)3 and 509(a) of the Internal Revenue Service.
- Grants are not given:
- to individuals;
- to organizations outside the boundaries of the U.S.A.;
- to annual sustentation funds.
- Should the Board think it useful in evaluating an application, a site visit will be requested.
- If applications are received for programs from various geographic areas, preference shall be given to those from Dallas County, Texas.
- Although requests are accepted all year, applications for current consideration must be received by May 1 of each year. Awards are made during the first week of December.
